The context
A leadership coach running a solo 1-1 practice. She wanted to launch an async cohort programme — participants submit weekly reflections, get AI-drafted feedback in her voice and framework, plus a monthly live call. Two dev shops had quoted between £22k and £30k. The idea had been sitting on her list for 18 months.
Where they were
A clear product vision, a paying audience that had asked for it, and no realistic way to build it without taking on debt. Every quote felt like the wrong shape for the product, and DIY felt out of reach technically.
The engagement
1-1 Accelerator — 6 sessions over 2 months. Claude Pro and Claude Code, plus a Stripe checkout setup.
What we built together
The cohort programme itself, as a working product. Reflections come in through a simple form, the tool drafts feedback using her frameworks (which we fed in as reference material), she reviews and sends. Stripe handles payments. She maintains it herself.
The moment it got real
The first feedback drafts sounded nothing like her. We spent a whole session on prompt tuning, feeding the tool her past notes and rewrites, before the voice landed.
The numbers
Launched 11 weeks after we started. The first cohort — 12 people — paid for the whole Accelerator and several years of Claude Pro. Runs alongside her 1-1 practice without taking time away from it.
Where they are now
Rolled onto a 1-1 Partnership after the Accelerator wrapped. We meet monthly to plan the next cohort and the small product changes she wants to try.
